Dollar Store adaptables and toy activity

I will start off this posting by indicating which products I found out the Dollar Store which could be used if adapted properly to assist individuals with special needs. The individual that i decided would benefit fron these porducts using adaptaions is a person who would be within the normal range in terms of intellectual and cogntive functioning. The student uses a wheelchair for mobility and has difficulty grasping small/ thin and heavy objects for a long period of time. The first item I seleced was a silicone basting brush. This could be used in several applications including a paint brush and a glue applicator. Tne next item is a large plastic bag clip which could be adapted to use as a organizer for paper and other materials. The next item I found was a plastic door stopper which could be used to elevate flat surface for reading and writing. The next item is a plastic mustard bottle. This could be used as a drinking botlle, although I'm unsure if using this repeatedly would be considered safe. I picked this item as well because it is thinner and more pliable than a typical drinking glass, there fore it may be easier to pick up. It could also be used in an arts classroom as a modified paint brush/applicator. A pencil could be attahced to the mouth of the bottle to make it easier to pck up and use. The next item I selected was a collapsible water bottle/jug. I selected this item because it be changed in terms of shape. It is easier to transport and fill with anything considered to be liquid. As well, the one I selcted at the dollar store had a large opening which made drinking/pouring relatively easy.
